Proper vs. Prada website

Our first project was to create a movie trailer in Imovie. Once we created our trailer, we had to create our backgound page by making a whole new template in Photoshop. I place embedded the background scene of New York, and both photos of Anne Hathway in the movie Devil Wears Prada and The Princess Diaries 2. Once we had the background in place and the two girls where we wanted them to be placed, we used the magentic lasso tool to cut Anne Hathaway out from the background image on the internet. After we got both characters in place, we used the text tool to add in our title, subtitle and adding cast members names. The font we used is Colonna Mt Regular. We used this font because we liked how creative of a text it is, it's very bold and makes a great statement that goes with our movie. Red symbolizes the boldness and the magenta imcorporates fashion. Once all of our text was in place, the last steps we made to complete this background was adding the Warner Bros. symbol, Fandago symbol for our external site and MPAA rating symbol. We used the brands of the world website and logos 101 to find these symbols. After downloading them we place embedded each of them, adjusted the size to how we wanted it and used the magnetic lasso tool again to take away some of the white edges of our logos. Our final step was using the shape tool to embed our trailer, we adjusted the coordinates to our shape so our trailer size could fit. Our background was finished so then we created a website for our trailer and background. We used Dreamweaver to create an HTML document for our home page of our website. Our homepage was up so then we adjusted it to our local student network, added a title page and description to the home page. We created this website manually by modifying our background page into properties, and uploading our image.
